Design Engineer

LBX Company LLC, maker of Link-Belt excavators, forestry, demolition and scrap/material handling machines, has an immediate opening for a Design Engineer.

Responsible for assisting with development of machines for special applications and/or with differences due to geographic needs. This position will include hydraulic, structural and mechanical system analyses and development, prototype build/test and follow on support.

Minimum 4-year undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 5 years experience in mechanical design of heavy mobile equipment for the construction, agriculture, forestry or mining industry. Requires experience with mechanical, structural and hydraulic systems and proficiency in CAD systems. Experience with electrical systems preferred.
